Princess Royal to attend RYA National Youth Championships Princess Royal to attend RYA National Youth Championships The top UK youth sailors will compete in front of a royalty at this year's RYA Youth National Championships, after confirmation that HRH The Princess Royal will be attending. More than 350 racers will battle it out at the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy between Saturday April 12 and Friday April, and RYA president Princess Anne will watch the penultimate day on Thursday April 17. She will take to the waters to observe Britain’s next wave of Olympic hopefuls as they compete for selection for RYA Team GBR, which will represent Great Britain at the 2014 ISAF Youth Sailing World Championship in Tavira, Portugal.
