The Diana Award have announced that this year's National Kindness Day will take place on Friday 31 March to commemorate the 20th anniversary year of the death of Prince William and Prince Harry's mother. For the third year running, the charity will be holding the event to encourage people across the UK to do something kind for someone else – and this year's acts of kindness will be in remembrance of Diana in a celebration of her values of compassion, kindness and service to others. News of the royal visit has been revealed on the Buckingham Palace website. The 59-bedroom Ronald McDonald House Evelina London opened in December next to Lambeth Palace.
