Melania Trump: Has the First Lady been BANNED from making visits HERE?
MELANIA TRUMP joined husband Donald on a foreign tour of Europe and the Middle East recently, with both attending events together and alone.
The visit was widely seen as a success – but now it has emerged Melania may have been stopped from doing something that had been on her original itinerary.
Whilst in Belgium, where the Trumps arrived on May 24th, Melania was scheduled to attend numerous “cultural and fashion events” which were set up by Belgium’s Queen Mathilde.
One of these was a trip to the Delvaux handbag store and Natan, owned by Belgian designer Edouard Vermeulen.
The Secret Service were reported to have swept both locations ready for the First Lady’s visit, when a last-minute call came in cancelling the fashion stops.
According to a source who spoke to the Hollywood Reporter, this was because of an intervention in Melania’s diary.
The source revealed: “The administration no longer wants Melania to be making commercial visits, only appearances related to charity or children.”
Melania did visit a children’s hospital whilst in Belgium on the 25th May, tweeting her thanks to the Queen Fabiola Children’s University Hospital.
However, any last minute cancellation was denied by the White House.

Stephanie Grisham, special assistant to the President, director of communications said: “She never canceled anything at the last minute.
“It is common practice for the Secret Service and an advance team to check out any stop that could potentially be on the First Lady’s schedule — that does not mean it is a confirmed stop — and in fact, she makes her schedule determinations after hearing back from those teams.
“Her schedule did not change at the last minute. In fact, at the time that many of the people participating in the spousal program were at the Delvaux store, the First Lady had an official meeting with Embassy personnel.”
Melania also took in the Fine Arts Belgium as part of her tour of the country.
Melania was widely praised during the tour, particularly for her fashion choices.
She wore a striking Dolce & Gabbana floral maxi dress whilst in Toarmina, Italy while Donald met with G7 leaders.
The First Lady chose a sleek nude skirt suit for her visit to the aforementioned children’s hospital in Brussels.
And she stepped into a style war with the wife of the French President, Brigitte Macron, when they were photographed together and both wore black.
